A designer long island pen hand turned in my UK workshops on an old-fashioned woodturning lathe. The pen’s trim has a high-quality rhodium plating far superior and more durable than the normal chrome plating. The pens central barrel turned from a resin with colours inspired by the long island iced tea drink.

Although this is a hard resin, it can be easily worked with old-fashioned woodturning tools to push the craft boundaries. The resin is hand turned to shape, then sanded and polished to 12000 grit for a polished and durable finish.
This designer pen uses a black Parker G2 style medium ballpoint refill from any good stationery supplier.
