A historical English oak pen hand turned in my own UK workshops. This rollerball pen is handcrafted with reclaimed oak from Lincoln Cathedral. Made with a high quality gold plated trim in a posted pen design. A thick centre band with lots of gold on show to compliment this character oak. The rollerball writes with a good quality water based black ink. These rollerball refills are a standard that you can replace from any high street stationery shops or online.
Building the Cathedral between 1072 – 1092 and finally consecrated in 1124. It was the tallest building in the world for 238 years (1311–1548). For over three hundred years it held one of the four copies of the Magna Carta. They used the fourth largest cathedral in the UK as a double for Westminster Abbey in filming The Da Vinci Code.
I present this oak rollerball with a certificate of authenticity and a luxury gift box. A beautiful gift for anyone who loves to write and with its own story to tell.
Please note this pen has no association with the film or the filmmakers.
