Description
A paper knife handcrafted in my UK workshops using acrylic ivory resin and traditional wood-turning tools and techniques. The letter opener has a high-quality gold plated trim with an overall length of 160 mm and weighing 37 g. Perfect to compliment the ivory fountain pen and useful at home or the office opening daily mail.
I mount the resin on my lathe, and hand turned to round and shaped. Once shaped, it needs sanding from 120 grit through to 12000 grit for a durable high gloss finish.
These letter openers handcrafted to compliment our fountain and rollerball pens for unique pen sets or corporate, 14th anniversary gifts. Presented in a black presentation box as a standard.
