Handmade Wooden Wenge Pen

A handmade Sierra pen with a high-quality chrome and gold plated trim with a twist mechanism.  The exotic wooden pen barrel has been hand turned from a piece of wenge wood, normally chocolate-brown and black. A choice of pens available either the natural wood or with the grain treated to highlight it. The natural pen has a black chrome finish or another pen with the grain highlighted and a gunmetal trim.

The wood mounted on my lathe and hand turned too round and shaped. Once shaped, it needs sanding through to 400 grit and then up to 8 coatings of Ca glue applying, then polished to 12000 grit using micro mesh for a super hard and durable high gloss finish.

The pen uses a Parker-style G2 medium ballpoint black refill available from any good stationery suppliers.

Each handmade wooden pen comes in a presentation box as the standard. Every piece of wood is different in grain and figure, even within the same larger piece, this pen will make a great pen gift for him or homemade wooden gifts for her.

Please note if the pictured pen has sold, another of the same wood will be sent. With the natural nature of the material, your item may differ slightly with the grain pattern and colour.
