A unique ballpoint pen hand turned by me on my lathe in the UK. This dark blue pen has a twist mechanism with a high-quality chrome-plated trim and a special white, blue and black acrylic resin.
With the resin cut to size for the pen and then drilled with an appropriately sized hole, then mounted on my lathe and hand turned and shaped too round. Resin blanks are a very hard material to turn, so lots of turners avoid them altogether. The resin then needs sanding from 120 grit through too 12000 grit for a high gloss finish
This white ballpoint pen uses a cross-type medium point black refill available from my pen spares & refills or any other good stationery suppliers.
