A twist action ballpoint pen hand turned on a wood-turning lathe in my own UK workshops. The pen has a superior twist mechanism with a high-quality chrome-plated trim. A colourful green and white acrylic resin with yellow ribbons for the pen barrels.

The resin blank needs cutting to size for the pen and then drilled with an appropriately sized hole. Then mounting on the lathe, turning to shape and round. Resin blanks are a hard material to turn, many Turners avoid them altogether. The resin is then sanded from 120 grit through to 12000 for a high gloss finish.
This twist pen uses a black cross type medium ballpoint refill available from any good stationery suppliers.
