A 308 pen hand turned on a wood-turning lathe with deer antler. The pen design is styled upon a 308 magnum bullet with a high quality 24k gold plated trim. Stunning design starts on top with the shell rim, a Winchester rifle for the pen clip moving on to the Winchester shell. With smooth writing, Parker G2 type black ink refill these pens also able to use gel refills.
Each piece of deer antler was selected for suitability and figure then mounted on the lathe. Hand turning the piece to round the sealing the porous holes with CA glue, then polished with hi-tec micro mesh to 12000 grit. We use CA glue as a finish to seal and protect this natural material as a matter of course.
