Description
An English oak ballpoint pen handcrafted in a Streamline style with a high-quality chrome-plated trim. Making a wood pen in my own UK workshop, using only traditional tools in the old-fashioned ways. With no CNC used each one is different although you may find it hard to notice. The wood I have used on this one is English Oak which grows throughout England.
I hand turned the wood to round and shape on the lathe. Once shaped and sanded the pen needs finishing with super glue for a hard and durable high gloss finish. Polishing wooden pens takes time, each has up to eight coatings of super glue, this finish takes time and skill to apply hence my prices.
This oak pen uses a cross type medium ballpoint black refill available from any good stationery suppliers.
All my unique wooden pens come in a presentation box as the standard. As every piece of timber is different in grain and figure, these pens will make a good wooden 5th wedding anniversary gifts.
