A gold and black ballpoint pen with a twist action ballpoint pen mechanism and 24-carat gold plating to the pens hardware. Hand turned in my own UK workshops these handcrafted pens all vary slightly in shape and diameter. Hand crafted pen use an acrylic resin made specifically for pen turning with a pearlescent shimmer.
Turned on the lathe to round and shape then sanded and polished to 12000 grit. When turning you are never really sure what will be revealed with resin in particular.
