Description

A wooden ballpoint pen handcrafted in our Ilgai style with a high-quality gold plated trim. This beautiful pen hand turned on a wood-turning lathe in my own UK workshop. Part of the rosewood family Cocobolo has lots of rich colours and a naturally oily wood.

These pens at 137mm long operate with a retractable ballpoint pen mechanism for a convenient one-handed operation. This stylish pen uses a black Parker ballpoint G2 type refill. Other refills are available from my pen spares refills or any other good stationery suppliers. I hand turned the wood to round and shape on the lathe. Once shaped it needs sanding and coating with CA glue. Finally polished to 12000 grit using micro mesh for a hard and durable high gloss shine. All my wood pens have up to eight coatings of superglue, this takes time and skill to apply hence my prices.
