A slimline ballpoint pen hand turned by me on a lathe in my own UK workshop. The handcrafted pen barrels made from an acrylic resin specifically made for pen turning, these particular ones are aqua blue with green and white ribbons.
The acrylic resin blank cut to size for the pen and then drilled with an appropriately sized hole. Then mounted on my lathe and hand turned and shaped too round. Resin blanks are hard and sometimes difficult to work with so lots of turners avoid them. The resin then sanded from 120 grit through to 12000 grit for a high gloss finish.
This aqua green pen has a high-quality chrome-plated trim with a smooth twist-action mechanism, the pen uses a cross-type black ink refill available from my pen spares & refills or any good stationery suppliers.
